Life these days feels like tea that has cooled for a few minutes—just the right temperature. It isn’t exactly thrilling, yet neither is it deeply unsatisfying. In truth, on days like this, I find myself with nothing particular to write. The days I feel compelled to write are usually the ones where my emotions are on a rollercoaster—days marked by intense anger, despair, or unhappiness. Conversely, on joyful days, I tend to steer clear of the written word. Perhaps it is because I want to experience those happy moments firsthand, feeling them with my own skin rather than diluting them into text.
In any case, days without much to say may seem rather bland, yet they hold a subtle, understated charm of their own. I find myself gazing contentedly at the blank screen, reflecting on how the day has passed smoothly and without incident.
For a long time, I have aspired to be someone who neither insists on their own opinions nor vehemently opposes others—someone capable of nodding along to most things. I feel I may have moved just a step closer to that ideal.
Hmm, perhaps "a step" is an overstatement; let's say half a step.
